Taq-HS DNA Polymerase

 

    Taq-HS DNA polymerase is a hot-start version of Taq DNA Polymerase that is modified with small molecule compounds. These compounds effectively inhibit the DNA polymerase activity below 60°C, preventing non-specific amplification at lower temperatures. At high temperatures, the compounds irreversibly dissociate, release the activity of the polymerase. This hot-start feature ensures specific amplification.
